The shoolyard politicking the current group of leaders insist on playing means the hole only gets deeper Its probably not the concept of a traditional dictator that people are longing for, just someone who will take charge.....I for one would love someone to take charge of the current situation and get things done....perhaps if it takes a dictator to do that then it might be a viable option! Its probably not the concept of a traditional dictator that people are longing for, just someone who will take charge…..I for one would love someone to take charge of the current situation and get things done….perhaps if it takes a dictator to do that then it might be a viable option!

Vaira Vike-Freiberga was recently quoted in saying that people are expecting her to be "a lucky teddy bear" that will come and rescue the fallen Latvian nation. And she didn't want to be that bear. I think the percentage of people who say the dictatorship is a way to go and who could be swayed into thinking that a dictatorship is a way to go is rather significant in a country where people never seem to agree on anything.
