Hello everyone….I am a very interested american who marvels at what your President, and the people of your fine country are doing. We get very little news here about the progress being made, or attempted to made, by your President Valdis Zatlers regarding the ultimatums he handed down a few weeks ago. I read that 64% of your population support dismissing your parliament – the Saeima. Do you also support the Presidents call for “you the people” to be able to dismiss a member of the Saeima? What are the criteria that are being discussed to actually make this happen?
Thanks for being willing to share some of your story with me…..I have shared this news with many people, both on and offline and am inspired by what is happening in Latvia today.
God Bless your efforts and please do share some of your stories – especially why you are all so “pissed off” at your government…..As you might imagine most of us – americans – are “pissed off” at our government and perhaps we could take a lesson or two from you!!!!
